Less than ten days before the opening cocktail reception of HMEM Nubar Cairo’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the ladies’ committee of the club has intensified meetings and preparations for the different receptions and activities programmed to be held on this occasion. Negotiations with catering service providers, Grand Ball preparations, the set up of different events, the tombola prizes, tickets sales, etc.. all these are being taken care of, thanks to the dedication of the different members of this committee who are working harder than ever before for the success of the week-long events.

The youth committee will also be organizing a pre-50th gathering to welcome guests who will already be in Cairo for this occasion: On Tuesday 30th September a “Sehour” night celebrating the last day of Ramadan will be held at the club featuring oriental food, music and shisha..

Around ten boys and girls will also be volunteering to help the organizers in transporting and accompanying guests and visiting teams, in sightseeing tours as well as in the tournament organization.

It is to be noted also that Goganian club’s “Oriental night” initially scheduled for 25th September, will now be held on Monday 29th September so that guests of HMEM Nubar who will already be in Cairo can also pay a visit to the club.
