The annual basketball tournament of HMEM Nubar Alex club will kick off next Friday 20th July with the home club playing against the St. Therese club of Heliopolis. This year the tournament commemorates the 55th anniversary of the July 23rd Revolution.

The tournament will last until Sunday and it will be held under the auspices of Arch. Ashod Menatsaguian and Mr.& Mrs. Antranig Mesrobian. The cup is offered by Dr. & Mrs. Garo Ansourian, in honour of well known sportsman Prof. Sdepan Khanjian and his son Berge Khanjian.

As usual, the medals are offered by Mr. & Mrs. Vart Alexanian who continue to contribute to these basketball tournaments since the early seventies.

Friday 20 July
8:00 p.m: 1. Sainte Therese / HMEM Nubar Alexandria
9:30 pm: 2. HMEM Ararat/ HMEM Gamk
Saturday 21 July
8:00 pm: 3. HMEM Nubar Cairo / winner of match 2
Sunday 22 July
FINAL: Winner of match 1/ winner of match 3

A dinner service with music will be held after the Saturday match .
